Earth Book Twenty-four hours • On 23rd Apr, Spain celebrates Book Mean solar day • The idea first began in Spain, in 1923, when booksellers decided to award Cervantes. It also coincided with the San Jorge celebrations in Catalonia • In 1995 UNESCO decided to make this 24-hour interval a world commemoration of reading • Three years after, the then Prime Minister Tony Blair launched Globe Volume Day in U.k.. It happens on the beginning Thursday in March. He gave i pound volume tokens to every kid so that they could buy any book they liked.
